Dunedin promotes Bevan to partner

UK mid-market player Dunedin has promoted Oliver Bevan to partner and Karan Darroch to finance and operations manager.
The firm also appointed Ennismore Capital’s Sophie Chambers and PwC’s Katie Chung as analysts in its origination team.
Bevan joined the firm in 2007 from Lloyds TSB, where he was a manager in the group strategy and M&A team. He focuses on the oil and gas and financial services sectors for Dunedin, having worked on the buyouts of EV Offshore, Premier Hytemp, CitySprint, U-POL and Hawksford, as well as the exit of Practice Plan.
Darroch has been with the GP for two years. Prior to joining Dunedin, Darroch spent 11 years at KPMG, where she was audit senior manager.
The two analysts, Chambers and Chung, will report to Giles Derry, head of origination, and will be involved in the sourcing of UK deals.
The announcement comes around seven months after Dunedin promoted David Williams to senior partner and appointed Lorna Eltringham as investor relations manager and Jessica Hardy as an analyst.
