TowerBrook mulls plans to sell Jimmy Choo
TowerBrook Capital is reportedly mulling plans to sell fashion retail company Jimmy Choo.
The company's owners, which include Tamara Mellon, are reportedly in talks with advisers to review possible sell options, which may include a private sale of about £500m, or a £1bn IPO.
TowerBrook Capital took an 83% stake in the company, as part of a £185m tertiary buyout from Phoenix Equity Partners in 2007, investing alongside Gala Capital. The company had also previously been backed by Lion Capital.
