Longbow aims venture fund at Sipp investors
Healthcare venture specialist Longbow Capital has launched a venture fund designed for self-invested personal pension (Sipp) holders.
AXA Winterthur Wealth Management will offer the Sipp fund via The One from Winterthur, an investment vehicle which will give holders access to a range of insured funds from Winterthur's Elite fund of funds to collectives, shares and commercial property.
The Longbow Sipp Venture fund will focus on providing capital and development support for unquoted, early-stage healthcare companies in the UK, a sector thought not to be as affected by the recession as others.
The fund, which launched in early April, will have quarterly closing dates and a minimum subscription of £10,000, with multiples of £1,000 thereafter.
