LTF launches competition
The London Technology Fund (LTF) has launched the London Technology Fund Competition 2009 for early-stage technology companies based in London. The competition is open until 30 May 2009 and all shortlisted companies have the opportunity to join a programme of specialist workshops during the summer and make their case for a share of up to £1m of investment.
In the workshops, the companies will learn to improve their business plans and hear from experts about market research and product design/development, sales and marketing, raising finance, legal documentation, IPR and presentation skills.
As in 2008, there will be an opportunity to meet major technology companies at a speed dating event. Finalists will receive further training before presenting to the final judging panel, who will select the winner.
