Finance Wales backs AssayMetrics
Finance Wales has led an early-stage investment in UK biotechnology company AssayMetrics. No financial details have been disclosed.
The funding will be used to commercialise a prototype plate reader for use in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
AssayMetrics was formed in 2004 by Dr Pierre Graves, who is the current managing director. The company launched its first products in 2006, a series of chemical dye reagents used for compound screening.
