Pamplona Capital seeks 30% stake in Chaucher
Private equity firm Pamplona Capital Management is in talks with listed insurer Chaucher Holdings about the acquisition of a 30% stake in the business.
It has been reported that Pamplona has been in talks with Chaucer since January. The company's hedge fund exposure is said to be an issue for the firm. Chaucher launched a £75m capital raising in January. Shares of the company have halved in value during the past year.
