Epi-V hires Dominic McCann as oil and gas advisor
Epi-V has bolstered its oil and gas deal-making team with the appointment of Dominic McCann as an independent technology advisor.
McCann will work alongside John Hutchinson, who heads of the company's deal origination team, and will advise on new and existing investments - with a focus on intellectual property and new technology.
McCann has over 25 years experience in the sector, having previously worked at oil and gas service provider, Schlumberger, where he held a number of senior research, product development and management positions.
Epi-V expects to see a rise in investment opportunities in the sector, as global economic recovery boosts exploration and production. The investor recently backed Scarlet - a company which has developed a sand control system to maximise oil and gas well production.
