Eden and XAnge in $12m B-round for VOSS
Eden Ventures and French firm XAnge Private Equity have backed VOSS, a unified communications service delivery software company, in a $12m series-B financing round.
Pyrford Enterprises, which led the first round of funding in 2006, also invested in this latest round. Eden Ventures and XAnge each provided $5m of funding.
Eden Ventures was attracted to the deal because of the growth potential of the unified communications market and the experience of the founder, Mike Frayne, who previously built-up another successful telecoms software business.
The capital will be used to broaden the product offering and expand the sales force. VOSS is based in Reading in Berkshire and Herndon, Virginia, in the US.
Mark Farmer led the deal for Eden Ventures and Cyril Bertrand led for XAnge. Both will join the board as non-executive directors. Mike Frayne is the CEO of VOSS.
