
Princess and DBAG join iPEIT
iPEIT, the group of London-listed private equity investment vehicles that was formed in 2006 to increase understanding of the listed private equity sector, has expanded its membership to 12 with the inclusion of Princess Private Equity Holding Ltd, a London- and Frankfurt-listed private equity firm, and Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), a Frankfurt-listed private equity company.
Princess is an investment company based in Guernsey whose investments include primary and secondary fund investments, direct investments and listed private equity. Its portfolio is diversified across all major geographic regions, stages and industries providing exposure to around 2,000 underlying portfolio companies.
DBAG is the largest and oldest listed German private equity group with EUR1bn under management and a market capitalisation of EUR275m. Its investment strategy has been to invest in Germany-based industrial companies and the average 10-year return on equity per share was 21.4%.
