Wellington opens up shop in London
To be closer to the pan-European venture scene, Wellington Partners has opened an office in London. The new office, which will be managed by general partners Eric Archambeau and Frank Bohnke, is the first the firm has opened outside the German-speaking region. The company has operated from a home base in Munich since 1991 and has maintained an office in Zurich since 2005.
Specialist early-stage investor Wellington has just closed a EUR265m technology fund (see page 5). The fund will invest in pan-European technology companies in the fields of digital media and online services, software and electronics.
