The crunch is infamously hurting the "big guys" - mostly in the form of banks but also the firms that work with them. Research from unquote" reveals that the result is a brain drain to the UK's mid-market: three dozen people moves in just four weeks, most from large outfits to smaller ones.
With dealflow completely dried up at the top of the market, it is these aforementioned larger outfits that appear to have been the most affected, as idle investment professionals debunk in favour of firms further down the value spectrum.
