Lehman Private Equity Partners re-brands
Lehman Brothers Private Equity Partners is changing its name to NB Private Equity Partners Ltd. The re-branding follows the sale of the investment manager, NB Alternatives Advisers LLC to Neuberger Berman Group LLC.
The company has executed a new lock-up agreement regarding the approximately 14.5m shares of LBPE acquired by Lehman Brothers in the IPO in July 2007. The initial lock-up agreement is due to expire in July 2010. Under the new agreement, NB Alternatives has committed to assisting Lehman in selling in the shares in three marketed secondary transactions for a period of 18 months following the expiration of the existing agreement.
NB Private Equity will continue to be listed on Euronext Amsterdam and its ticker symbol will be "NBPE".
