
AXA-backed company acquires Dylon
AXA Private Equity portfolio company Spotless Group has acquired producer of fabric dyes and colours Dylon International Ltd from the Mayborn Group for an undisclosed sum.
AXA PE created the Spotless group in 2005. The company is a European producer and distributor of home care and cleaning products. Since its inception, Spotless, has since completed seven acquisitions and predicts a turnover of EUR370m in 2008. Dylon will become part of Spotless Punch UK.
Dylon was founded in 1946 as Dyes of London. It focuses on fabric dyes and household products,, which are produced under the Dylon LS, Lord Sheraton and Oust brands.
