Bain closes EUR3.5bn European buyout fund
Boston-headquartered Bain Capital has closed its third European buyout fund. The fund's original target was EUR2.5bn.
The company has offices in London and Munich, which operate under the brand Bain Capital Europe from where the fund will be managed.
Bain Capital was founded in 1984 and its affiliates manage more than $50bn in assets. Their investment activities include private equity and venture capital as well as long/short public equity, credit products and global macro hedge funds.
