
Inflexion's British Engineering Services acquires Nortest
Inflexion portfolio company British Engineering Services has acquired UK-based material testing consultancy Nortest.
The bolt-on will expand the engineering inspection and consultancy company's services to include non-destructive testing, positive material examinations and welding certification services.
Inflexion acquired British Engineering Services in a spinout from parent group RSA in November 2015. The acquisition of Nortest marks the group's first bolt-on since the GP's investment.

Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Salford, near Manchester, Nortest is a material testing consultancy.
Also headquartered in Manchester, British Engineering Services provides engineering testing, inspection and consultancy services with a focus on health and safety compliance. Prior to the deal, the group had a headcount of 450.
