
Albion Ventures injects £3m into Convertr Media
VC firm Albion Ventures has provided a £3m series-A funding round for Convertr Media, a London-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) digital marketing platform.
The investment will support Convertr's international expansion strategy and enable it to undertake marketing activity.
As part of the deal, Albion partner Robert Whitby-Smith will join the company board.
Albion has previously invested in numerous digital marketing companies, including Black Swan, in which it invested as part of a £6.2m round alongside the Blackstone Group, and Relayware, for which it took part in an $11m Amadeus Capital Partners-led round. Other investments in the space include Elateral, Grapeshot and Sift.

Launched in 2011 by CEO Emma Bowkett and CTO Clive Brett, Convertr is a SaaS platform that helps advertisers enhance their digital marketing through customer acquisition and data partnerships.
The group works with media agencies, advertisers and publishers including Mediacom, Maxus, iProspect, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Dropbox, Incisive Media and Dennis Publishing.
