Albion invests £5m in The Evewell
Albion Capital has invested £5m in newly launched UK-based women's health clinic The Evewell.
The GP said the investment thesis is driven by growing demands for fertility treatments owing to factors such as couples waiting longer to have children, increases in treatments for same-sex couples, rising infertility and an increase in demand for genetic testing and egg freezing.
The clinic is to be led by Colin Davis, who is managing director at The London Clinic and lead clinician for fertility consultant obstetricians at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
Company
Founded in 2018, London-based The Evewell is a women's health clinic focusing on gynaecology and reproductive health.
