Foresight leads £2m funding round for Fertility Focus
Foresight Group has led a ТЃ2m funding round for Fertility Focus, a fertility monitoring company.
Foresight VCT and Foesight 4 VCT contributed a combined £1.25m to the round, with the rest of the capital coming from both new and existing investors.
Foresight's investment will primarily be used to invest in sales and marketing, but will also fund a clinical trial to further prove the benefits of OvuSense as a tool to diagnose ovulatory issues.
Company
Based in Warwick, Fertility Focus was established in 2005 by a team from Bristol University to commercialise the intellectual property developed with the ability to determine and predict ovulation with a high degree of accuracy by monitoring subtle changes in body temperature. Its sensor, OvuSense, can predict ovulation up to 24 hours in advance.
