US-based VCs invest $25m in Teckro series-C
US-based VC Northpond Ventures has led a series-C funding round for Teckro, a producer of software for managing clinical trials.
Other investors in the round included US-based VCs Founders Fund, Sands Capital Ventures, Section 32 venture fund, and Borealis Ventures.
Teckro CEO Gary Hughes said the company will use the round to continue its international expansion and product development.
Company
Established in 2015, Teckro produces software that aims to make the conduct of clinical trials more efficient. It has users in around 80 countries and employs 100 staff across three global bases – its headquarters in Limerick, an engineering hub in Dublin, and a US office in Nashville, Tennessee. There has been a 240% increase in the number of clinical trials on its platform over the past 12 months, the company said.
