Corsair's Zedra bolts on Interben Trustees
Corsair Capital-backed corporate and fund services firm Zedra Group has agreed to acquire Guernsey-based Interben Trustees from Nordic pension providers Storebrand and Mandatum Life Insurance.
The transaction comes seven months after the financial-services-focused private equity firm acquired a majority stake in Zedra from the Nielsen and Sarikhani families.
The acquisition will expand the consolidated group's international pension and employee benefits portfolio, in addition to giving it entry into the Nordic market. Upon completion of the deal, Interben's existing staff will join the Zedra Guernsey office.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
