
Elaghmore acquires EAG
Elaghmore Partners has acquired cladding manufacturer English Architectural Glazing.
This is the firm's eighth acquisition from its Elaghmore I fund, which closed on £60m in 2016. The vehicle looks to make 8-10 investments with a typical equity cheque of £5-10m.
The vendor of the shares is its current management team, who will continue to lead the company.
Following the transaction, the company plans to expand its operations to increase the amount of work for which it can tender.

Founded in 1985, EAG employs 125 people on three sites in Norfolk, Suffolk and Staffordshire. Headquartered in Mildenhall, the company manufactures engineered envelope cladding packages for building facades.
