HV Holtzbrinck et al. back €11.5m Immo round
Venture capital investors HV Holtzbrinck Ventures and Talis Capital, and business angels Tom Stafford, Rahul Mehta and Mato Peric, have backed an тЌ11.5m round for real estate fintech startup Immo Investment Technologies.
The round totalled €72m, as it also included €60m from real estate investors, to be deployed through the company's residential platform.
The fresh capital will be used to support the company's growth.
German VC investor HV specialises in early-stage transactions and usually invests €250,000-5m per deal. The VC's latest UK investments include participation in a €62m series-C for Depop.
Talis is based in London and generally invests $1-10m per transaction. It recently participated in the $50m round for Onfido, a UK-based automated identity verification company.
Company
London-based Immo Investment Technologies uses machine-learning to assess property leads and calculate a price for property sellers. The company acquires the properties on behalf of institutional investors and converts them into fully-furnished homes, with the aim of targeting the long-term rental property market.
The group was founded in 2017 by Hans-Christian Zappel, Samantha Kempe and Avinav Nigam. It has offices in London and Hamburg and employs 33 staff, according to LinkedIn.
