
Insight invests $8m in Hundred
Insight Partners has invested $8m in personalised vitamins subscription company.
US-based Insight is currently investing from its $6.3bn Insight Venture Partners X vehicle, which closed in July 2018. It was 71% deployed as of June 2019.
This is the company's first round of institutional funding. It will use the fresh capital to grow into a wellness company offering nutritional education in addition to their direct-to-consumer vitamin portfolio.

Hundred designs vitamins with a portfolio of 34 products. Its subscribers create their custom mix by completing a consultation online. Headquartered in Berlin, the company was founded in 2017.
