
Eclipse leads $20m series-A for Wayve

Palo Alto-based Eclipse Ventures has led a $20m series-A funding round for London-based autonomous driving software firm Wayve.
Also joining the round were Firstminute Capital, Fly Ventures, Balderton Capital and Compound, and private investors Zoubin Ghahramani and Pieter Abbeel.
The fresh capital will be used to launch a pilot fleet of autonomous electric SUVs with which to test the software.
Previous funding
US-based VC Compound led an undisclosed funding round in May 2018, with participation from Fly Ventures and Firstminute.
