
Omers-backed ERM acquires MJ Bradley & Associates
London-based environmental consultancy ERM has acquired MJ Bradley & Associates (MJB&A), a specialist energy, climate change and sustainability adviser in the US.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Omers in 2015 paid an enterprise value of $1.7bn to acquire ERM from Charterhouse Capital Partners. The sale reportedly generated a 2.4x return for the vendors.
ERM group CEO Keryn James said the acquisition builds on ERM's capability to operationalise sustainability.
James also said: "ERM is focused on rapidly growing and expanding our capabilities organically and through acquisitions. MJB&A supports this objective."

Founded in 1994 by Michael Bradley, Massachusetts-based company MJB&A provides energy and climate policy advisory services. Its clients includes electric and natural gas utilities, major transportation fleet operators, clean technology firms, environmental groups and government agencies. According to its LinkedIn page, the company employs 11-50 staff.
