
Fortunis invests up to £15m in Sportside
Fortunis Capital Group has agreed to invest up to £15m in recreational sports app Sportside.
Fortunis offers three financial options, including venture capital, growth finance and innovation funding.
Bob Frost, director of London-based Fortunis, confirmed an initial £2m of funding, with further phased funding to £15m during the next two years.
The company has recently appointed Jeremy Bourke as CEO.
The fresh capital will go towards talent, technology and marketing that the company needs to work towards a consumer launch in autumn.

The social app, scheduled to be launched in autumn, is a platform that lets people find their perfect sporting match, by age, ability or geography, and gives clubs and coaches the resources to manage their business and attract new clients. Founded in 2019, the company is based in Guildford.
