Queen's Park Equity backs Blue Ribbon MBO
Queenтs Park Equity has backed an MBO of Blue Ribbon, a UK-based support provider for people with learning difficulties and autism.
The acquisition is the sixth platform deal through its Queen's Park Equity Fund I, which closed at its hard cap of GBP 202m in December 2020.
Blue Ribbon was owned by its management team, Mark Fuller, Paul Carter and Sam Leonard, who will continue as shareholders and to lead the business.
QPE's investment will help Blue Ribbon to accelerate its expansion plans, QPE said in a statement.
The business operates a number of residential homes and supported living services across the Northwest of England.
Queen's Park Equity Fund I has also backed an MBO of FutureDeluxe, a digital creative studio, and property management company Encore Group, both based in the UK.
The GP invests in businesses in the health and pharma, education and tech services sector.
