The North West Fund backs B2B development consultancy
The North West Fund has announced its investment in B2B IT consultancy Channel Intellect.
The new capital will be used to fund the company's expansion into Europe and the US, and help enhance sales in the UK.
The North West Fund draws on funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB). The fund is managed by Enterprise Ventures.

Channel Intellect is a B2B IT development consultancy, focused on driving engagement and growth with Cisco systems in the UK. Its key client is Comstor, a major distributor of Cisco systems in the UK. Among its main tasks is to help companies reach higher Cisco certifications.
The company was fouded by John Shannon in 2006.

Will Clark, investment director at EV, led the deal on behalf of the North West Fund. John Shannon is managing director of Channel Intellect.
