Push Doctor raises $8.2m in series-A funding
Oxford Capital, Draper Esprit and Partech Ventures have led an $8.2m funding round for UK-based online GP marketplace Push Doctor.
The company had previously raised a $1.2m seed round, bringing its total funding to date to $9.4m.
The new capital will be used to strengthen Push Doctor's brand position, carry out further product innovations and expand the company's management structure.
Oxford Capital's investment was made from the Oxford Capital Growth EIS fund.
Company
Push Doctor is an NHS-commissioned online service connecting patients with a network of GMC-registered UK general practitioners via secure video consultations.
Founded in 2013 by Eren Ozagir and Matt Elcock, it is regulated by the Care Quality Commission in England. It is understood that Push Doctor was the first on-demand remote care provider to launch on Apple's UK app store.
