SAM Private Equity invests $12m in Nujira
British semiconductor business Nujira has secured a $12m financing round from SAM Private Equity.
Nujira has previously received investments from NES Partners, Environmental Technologies Fund, Amadeus Capital Partners and Climate Change Capital Private Equity.
Company
Nujira is a British semiconductor company with operations in Cambridge and Edinburgh. Its prime products are the Envelope Tracking technology and its Coolteq power modulator, which is used for 3G and 4G wireless transmitters for cellular terminals, cellular infrastructure and digital broadcast systems. Its client base currently includes 16 smartphone chipset suppliers.

Investment director Keimpe Keuning led the deal on behalf of SAM. Tim Haynes is CEO of Nujira.
