British VC Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) has led a £9.5m series-C investment round for London-based sports apparel e-commerce business SportPursuit, alongside Grafton Capital and existing investor Draper Esprit.

Draper Esprit participated in a £2.2m follow-on round in October 2013 and led SportPursuit's £5m series-B in February the following year, alongside Silicon Valley Bank.
Company
SportPursuit was founded in London in 2011 and is a flash sales website for sports gear and apparel.
The company has a website and app that its customers can use to access members-only sales of a range of discounted sports brands.
People
Grafton's Oliver Thomas led the investment alongside SEP's Stuart Paterson and Martin Brennan. Paterson and Thomas will join SportPursuit's board as part of the investment.
