Octopus et al. invest in YPlan
Octopus Investments, Wellington Partners and angel investors have backed London-based app developer YPlan with a $1.7m seed financing round.
The company's app launched in London for iOS devices in November 2012. The company seeks to expand, with the aim of covering larger regions in the future. Octopus invested on behalf of its Venture Partners and from its Titan Venture Capital Trust funds.

YPlan was founded by Viktoras Jucikas and Rytis Vitkauskas to allow users to book last minute tickets to London-based events via mobile devices.
