
AQ Metrics raises $3.25m

Frontline Ventures, Bluff Point Associates and Enterprise Ireland have lead a $3.25m investment in Dublin-based risk management and compliance software business AQ Metrics.
The fresh funding will be used to make 30 new hires in Ireland over the next 12 months, as well as open an office in New York.
The transaction marks Connecticut-based Bluff Point's first investment in Ireland.

Founded in 2012, AQ Metrics seeks to address regulatory risk and compliance for investment managers.
The Dublin-based company employs 12 people. Investment firms use its cloud-based software-as-a-service platform to submit regulatory filings to regulators in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK, Germany and Ireland.
Specifically, the software delivers UCTIS rules monitoring; AIFMD risk management and Annex IV reporting; AML/KYC and UBO monitoring; EMIR reporting and Opera reports.
