
BGF-backed Four Communications bolts on FBA
Four Communications Group, a London-headquartered media and marketing agency backed by Business Growth Fund (BGF), has acquired Welsh public relations and branding agency Francis Balsom Associates.
The two agencies already collaborate on a joint venture called Four Cymru, which will be the newly merged group's operating name in Wales.
The deal marks the second bolt-on for Four Communications since the GP injected £10m into the company in July. In August, the business acquired UK competitor Broadgate Mainland.

Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Aberystwyth, Francis Balsom is a public relations and digital marketing agency. The company's clients include Higher Education Wales, Christian Aid, Rachel's Organic and Visit Wales.
Francis Balsom has a headcount of 16 and generates revenues of more than £1m.
People
Francis Balsom managing director Meilyr Ceredig will take a seat on the board of Four Communications, while founder and chairperson Sue Balsom will continue in a consultancy role.
