Upfront and IA lead $3m round for Cognitive Logic
Upfront Ventures and IA Ventures have led a $3m seed investment in Basingstoke-based data analytics company Cognitive Logic.
The company was three weeks old at the time of investment and will use the fresh capital to fund product development.
Nick Halstead, who founded and led DataSift, left his role in October 2015 to start Cognitive Logic in south-west England.

Cognitive Logic is based in Basingstoke, in the UK. The business helps enterprises to store, share and analyse big datasets while adhering to security and privacy law requirements. The first sectors that the company will target are government, health and finance.
