Big Bang Ventures (BBV) has announced the appointment of Georges van Hoegaerden as venture partner. This partnership builds on the common investment philosophy and long-standing relationship between van Hoegaerden and BBV. Van Hoegaerden will be their first US-based venture partner, leveraging his extensive operational experience to identify and evaluate business opportunities for enterprise software and media companies. In addition to his work for BBV, he will continue as president of The Venture Company. Van Hoegaerden has more than 20 years of technical and business management experience in the software industry. At The Venture Company, he provided guidance to a variety of Silicon Valley CEOs enabling their companies to achieve early revenues and profitability.
