Record turnout for Impetus-PEF Private Equity Triathlon
The third annual Impetus-PEF Private Equity Triathlon held on Saturday 17 September saw the largest turnout yet and expects to raise more money for charity than ever before.
More than 500 triathletes from the private equity industry and associated professions competed at the 2012 London Olympics venue Eton Dorney, and the foundation expects to gather more than the £190,000 raised last year in the final phase of donations.
Managing partner at CVC Capital Partners and chair of the Impetus-PEF Private Equity Triathlon Mark Boughton said of the event: "Our ambition was to increase the fantastic support we received in 2015, but it is fair to say that this year has surpassed all our expectations, with a record number of competitors.
"Congratulations to all who took part! We are grateful for your time, commitment and dedication. Thanks to your outstanding support, we will now be able to help even more disadvantaged young people achieve their potential."
Marc Boughton of CVC, Andy Ratcliffe of Impetus-PEF, and Nikos Stathopoulos of BC Partners
