UK - Venture capital investment competition at London Business School
Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures is sponsoring the Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) at London Business School.
Teams from Oxford University, Cambridge University, INSEAD, IESE, Erasmus and HEC will line-up for the competition at the London Business School this week (Thursday 23 February to Saturday 25 February).
Unlike business plan competitions, the VCIC involves entrepreneurs from real companies that are currently seeking funding, pitching to the business school teams. The judging panel, including Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures’ managing directors George Powlick and Nigel Grierson and other members of the London venture capital community, evaluate the MBA teams on the quality of their decision-making, teamwork and presentations.
