
UK - NewMedia Spark invests in Skinkers
NewMedia Spark has invested £2m in Skinkers, an e-mail software developer, according to reports.
The investment is NewMedia Spark's first in three years. Spark was formed by NewMedia Investors and GlobalnetFinancial.com in 1999. Andrew Carruthers, CEO of Spark, said: 'We have begun looking for new investment opportunities. The growth in online advertising and explosion of digital media has created many opportunities for entrepreneurs, and we are now keen to use our experience to help this new generation of companies to grow.'
