
UK - Hotbed invests in new residential health spa
Hotbed has invested £23.8m in a deal to construct and operate a purpose-built residential health spa in Essex with 100 bedrooms and 92 treatment rooms called thelifehouse.
Hotbed has put in £2.3m, with the balance provided as debt funding by Clydesdale bank. Thelifehouse will be built on 135 acres of parkland at Thorpe Hall, near Colchester. Already operating from the site is a five-room day spa called The Studio.
