
EY poaches two Deloitte partners
EY has appointed Deloitte duo Faizul Ali and Fredrik Bürger as partners in its operational transaction services team.
In his new role, Bürger will advise private equity and corporate clients on pre-deal considerations, restructurings, integrations and separations in the medical equipment, automotive and industrial sectors.
In his role as partner in the post-merger integration team at Deloitte, Bürger undertook operational and commercial due diligence activities on private equity deals. Prior to joining Deloitte he was CEO of Human Care, a publicly listed medical equipment company.
Bürger studied at Linköping University's Institute of Technology and Hawaii Pacific University.
Ali leaves his role as partner in Deloitte's technology, media and telecommunications team. Prior to joining Deloitte he worked at HP as head of consulting and managing partner in the EMEA communications, media and entertainment consulting practice.
Ali studied at University College London.
