PORTUGAL – Esprírito Santo in EUR 5m financing of fibre-optics company
Esprírito Santo Ventures has led a EUR 5m series-B funding round for fibre-optic technology company Multiwave Photonics alongside existing investor Bullnet Capital.
The Maia-based company designs and develops next generation pulsed fibre lasers and other optical devices based on fibre-optic technologies for applications in industry, remote sensing and medicine. The financing will support the company’s growth and global market expansion.
Esprírito Santo carried out the deal through Esprírito Santo Ventures II, with investment bank GP Bullhound acting as adviser on the transaction.
