UK - Close Ventures leads £2.6m funding round for Dexela
Close Ventures has invested ТЃ1.4m as part of a ТЃ2.6m funding round for Dexela Ltd, a developer of 3D imaging technology, alongside London Technology Fund and existing shareholders.
Dexela was founded in 2005 and received £1.2m from Close Ventures in 2006. The company is currently developing a new 3D breast imaging method, called Tomosynthesis, for the early detection of breast cancer.
