BALTICS - ASI injects further capital in social networking site for pets
Ambient Sound Investments (ASI) has injected a further $235,000 in social networking sites for pet owners, www.unitedcats.com and www.uniteddogs.com. The investment round will be used to expand the reach of the site. The round gives the investor a further 18% stake in the business.
The two social networking sites concentrates on uniting people based on their interest in their pets. The website offers the possibility to virtually pet an animal, upload and comment on pictures with other pet owners. In the past six months the number of users has grown rapidly and now numbers around 40,000. The site is available in 12 languages from English to Croatian.
