FRANCE - BNP PE et al. invest EUR 3.5m into Ion Beam
BNP Private Equity, Investis and Vizille Capital Innovation have invested EUR 3.5m into Ion Beam Services (IBS), an ion implantation products company.
Ion Beam's proprietary polarisation technology and pulsed plasma configuration allows for high process stability at ultra low energy, while offering high dose process versatility. The company was founded in 1987.
The financing round will help finance the creation of an industrial prototype of the Pulsion Nano machine, a plasma ion implanter developed alongside Grenoble-based Laboratoire d'électronic et de technologies de l'information (Leti), as well as fund ongoing marketing efforts.
