
SPAIN – Proa Capital and Apax battle for biscuit company
Proa Capital and Apax-backed bread company Panrico are among the candidates bidding for biscuit manufacturers Marbú Dorada and Chiquilín.
According to reports, US breakfast cereal giant Kellogg’s would also be interested in maming a bid in view of expanding its presence in the European market. Other bidders could include local biscuit manufacturers such as SOS Cuétara, Siro, o Gullón.
