
GERMANY - CVC leads field for Evonik with EUR 2.2bn bid
According to reports, CVC has come out on top of the four private equity bidders interested in acquiring a minority position in diversified industrial concern Evonik. CVC is thought to have offered around EUR 2.2bn for the 25.1 percent stake, beating competition from Bain, Blackstone and KKR.
