GERMANY - Consortium provides seed funding for Avidal Vascular
A consortium led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has provided seed financing for medical devices company Avidal Vascular GmbH.
Berlin-based Avidal Vascular develops drug eluting balloons (DEB). The technology is aimed at the intraluminal drug application in coronary arteries and peripheral vessels to treat In-Stent-Restenosis (ISR), bifurcations, small vessels, and long lesions.
Avidal has previously received backing from other investors.
