GERMANY - T-Online Venture Fund invests in sones
T-Online Venture Fund has invested a single digit million euro sum into software company sones GmbH in a second round of financing.
The company, founded in 2007, has developed an object-oriented database that can directly link relevant information from complex unstructured data volumes. The first full version of the object-oriented database management system (DBMS) is expected to be available by the end of this year. The company's web services based tagging and recommendation system is already being used commercially. The company is based in Erfurt.
