Cinven appoints three partners in London office
Cinven has promoted Maxim Crewe, Pontus Pettersson and Yalin Karadogan to partners in its London office.
Previously an associate in the retail and consumer team at Citigroup, Crewe joined Cinven in 2006 to work on the firm’s financial services sector team. He has been involved in transactions including Avalon, Guardian Financial Services and Partnership, taking a seat on the board at each.
Pettersson is a member of Cinven’s Nordic and industrial sector teams, having joined the GP in 2011. He has worked on transactions including CeramTec, which the firm acquired in a €1.5bn deal in June 2013, and Prezioso.
Before taking up his role at Cinven, Pettersson was principal at KKR, in addition to stints at Altor Equity Partners and Goldman Sachs.
Karadogan works on Cinven’s investor relations team in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region and its investment team covering emerging Europe. He joined the GP in 2006 after spending eight years with JP Morgan, and worked on Cinven’s acquisition of Turkish alarm systems provider Pronet Güvenlik from Turkven Private Equity.
